What the College Freshman is using this Fall.

My granddaughter specifically asked for this for her 18th birthday. She is leaving for college in a few weeks and I'm presuming this is to hold materials for class plus other stuff. I also bought her the felt liner. The handles and trim are leather and the body of the bag is nylon. It's expensive for a bag of this material but it's also got Longchamp plastered on the side which is part of the draw. I think Le Pliage is the most have for college freshman this year.

I purchased this tote as a gift, and the recipient absolutely loves it! I’ve been a fan of the Longchamp Le Pliage myself for years—I have a navy one that I’ve owned for at least five years, and I recently received another as a gift. It’s lightweight, stylish, and surprisingly spacious, making it a great everyday bag. The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is that I’ve found the bottom corners can wear through over time, especially if you regularly carry hardback books or other items with sharp edges. I was able to have the corners of my original bag professionally stitched, and I also purchased a bag organizer/liner from Amazon, which has helped provide more structure and protection. Overall, it’s a classic, versatile tote that I continue to recommend and gift to others.

Smaller than I thought

I think the pictures of the bag are deceptive, not a Bloomingdale’s issue, but longchamp. I ordered the medium but it is too small. On the models the bag looks bigger. I now realize that I want the large. A medium does not fit a laptop, and am a believer that a tote should fit a laptop
