Perfect in every way!

I bought my first expandable Longchamp bag in a duty free shop in Ireland, long before Longchamp became popular in the US. This bag has served me well, a perfect carryon which can hold extra shoes, a purse, jacket, computer, cords, etc. while carrying on a suitcase. It expands to hold a whole wardrobe, gifts…and it folds up beautifully when not in use. I purchased a new bag in British racing green, which is a favorite color, as the bottom corners of my original bag are looking worn. That bag, which continues to travel the world, will never retire. However the thought of traveling without a Longchamp expandable is unthinkable. This bag will go with me first to Ireland, where the love affair began!

best travel bag ever

I have owned this bag in black for over a decade and just got in the green as well. It is hands down the best travel bag. I always bring it when I travel abroad and stick my personal item inside on the way there and use it for any items I pick up while traveling and either check or use as a carry-on on the way back. It's so practical and the zip expansion is wonderful. This year the clip on my long strap broke after years of extensive use and Longchamp has a repair center where they will do the repairs themselves. Really great to buy from a company that still is privately owned and still owned by the family that started the business in 1948 because they stand by the quality of their products!
