Not for Me

Be aware that if shipped directly from brand and not bought in-store, it will come in beautiful packaging but be extremely wrinkled and need work to get in ready to wear shape. I agree with other reviews that the white color is see through, and the fabric is smooth but shiny. Looks a little cheap as a result. It’s thin fabric. I also don’t feel that the collar looks quite as it does in the pictures. Size wise it didn’t work for me. I am medium with a DDD chest and slightly broad shoulders, and the chest was very narrow and didn’t button without gaping and pulling. Returned and won’t be trying a different size or color.

Gorgeous Claret!

I LOVE this style blouse by Lily Silk. The claret color is divine; neither a true red, nor a blue red nor an orange red but a deep, luxurious, shimmery red. Perfection! I’ve bought this basic concealed placket blouse in so many colors because it is a definite staple of my wardrobe; I never have to think if it will look good because it always does. Wear it often & get ready for the compliments!

Love the concealing placket!

This is a lovely, feminine blouse; lightweight with a pretty sheen. (Bought the Light Camel color yet would have preferred if it had been offered in a standard camel color.) When I purchase a blouse I like the button color to match the fabric color. This does (although it has the placket)! I value this attention to detail on the part of Lily Silk. (Not all their silk tops/blouses have buttons that match the fabric color.) True-to-size fit.

Great but See-Through

It is everything I wanted: comfortable material and fit, beautiful shape, and incredible attention to detail. As a seamstress, I was very impressed by how every single edge was completely finished, no matter how small and dainty. This is something I couldn't do myself. I got it in white, and I intend to wear it casually (for me), but I would not wear it to work, as it is pretty see-through. The more opaque colors would probably be better options for work attire. I am 5'8", small-framed, and weigh about 123lb. The XS fits me well, but is not baggy/loose-fitting. Also, if you have a larger bust, you would probably want to size up.

Not what I expected

The shirt looks cheaper than in the picture. The sleeves are sewn in carelessly, the seams are uneven. The shoulder line is wider than my size, although the shirt fits very tightly in the chest.
