Beautifully Simple
This is a lovely dress that I bought for a wedding. You do need to size up. I normally wear a 4-6 and had to order a 10. So I docked a start because I do have to get the dress altered in the bodice for it to fit right. The dress is so pretty though that the alterations are worth it. I’m sure I’ll get a lot of use out of it.

I just purchased this dress and absolutely love it. I did take the advice to size up. So glad I need. The dress is a perfect fit. I tried it on and was immediately captivated by the look and fit. Absolutely eye catching!!!

This dress is very flattering all over. The stripes on the top part really enhance the chest and waist. The fabric is nice. The only thing is buy a larger size than normal.

Runs small if you have a broad back
I love the simplicity of this dress. The fabric is thick with just a bit of stretch and the dress feels well constructed. However, I had a time with the sizing. I am 5’-4”/ 130#/ 36b/ athletic build (broad shoulders & back, thick thighs and butt and not much hip- swimmer build). I typically wear a 4 (or 2) in most dresses, but ended up with an 8 in this one. The 4 fit great except that the last 4 inches or so would not zip up my back. So I ordered a 6... the 6 zipped but was very tight. I feared that if I laughed to hard I would bust the zipper. So on to the 8... the 8 zipped comfortably and I could breathe and move. I will need to get the hips and waist taken in a good bit and hem the length. Consensus: if you have a broad back, size up. If you are a 4 or 6 and a 32 or 34 band size you can probably stick true to size.

Simple, chic, and flattering!
Likely dresses are my go-to for any special occasion: weddings, work parties, showers, and even regretful events like memorial services. I own the Packard one-shoulder in potent purple (which is great for fall weddings and work galas), Carolyn in navy (perfect for summer beachy weddings and fancy work events), Cassidy in fuschia (another favorite for summer and fall weddings), Helena one shoulder in white (which I wore to my city hall wedding), Hayden in scarlett (which was perfect for a bachelorette party in Vegas and honeymoon in the Philippines), and now Brooklyn in black (which I plan to wear to a family member's memorial service).
