Spanx shirt!

What a disappointment! This was my second time buying this shirt. The cut is flattering, especially the longer sleeve and high armhole — so I will give 2 stars for that. The first one has worn beautifully, but the black was finally fading, so I was excited to see that Ralph Lauren was offering same style. It arrived, and the cut is the same, but that’s it. The size Large is about 75% the size of the first one — I laid the old one flat and placed the new one over it. And the label says it’s still 100% cotton, but I’m not buying it. Look, I know manufacturers switch mills and fabricators, but is there no quality control? If you are very trim, or prefer form-fitting clothing, might still work for you.

Color was an issue

I have always liked this RL style top. However, I was extremely disappointed in the color. It was called Rose and showed on the site to be pale pink, which is what I wanted. It looks like a muted rose shade and is darker than the picture.

Boatneck top

This t-shirt is nicely tailored. The cuffs on the sleeves are a nice touch. The sleeves are slightly longer than a regular t-shirt, which makes them look a bit dressier. The material is very good quality with just the right amount of stretch. Runs true to size.
