The fabric is way too think to be called a jacket

I bought this jacket to replace another Janelle jacket that I lost which was my favorite, great cut, fabric and color. I thought this is identical to the one I lost but to my utter surprise I received what looked like a shirt, the fabric is way too thin. I think the is falsely advertised. I had to return it.
