Runs very large

I wear a 1x or 18 regular in L148. I purchased the xxl and it was HUGE on me. The construction is beautiful, the fabric is a cotton denim-canvas, the leather trim is beautifully sewn on both sides. Would make a great fall jacket.. I would wear it instead of my jean jacket… class up! I think I’ll order this in an xl. I took off one star for sizing, but that feels harsh.
