Lightweight & creamy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a very small container. It is very creamy, pleasant scent. Nothing over powering. Easy to apply, no greasy feeling. I did like how silky it felt once applied, a little goes a long way.

These other reviews are barking mad
Sorry but anyone who says this cream is average clearly is not thinking straight. I am 46 and people ask me for ID. That say I look 30. I have used la prairie for years, along with la mer, sisley, guerlain orchidee and Augustus bader skincare. Yes it is expensive but you get what you pay for. The scene is strong I agree. But disappears after 15 mins of wearing it. I wouldn't say it's heavy or rich. The standard formula soaks into skin well and if you have particularly oily skin there is the lighter version of this called the sheer cream I have tried a few of their products and some of them aren't that great. The platinum rare collection did very little for me and the gold range. But I consider the caviar range like la mer. A good staple to use and your skin will definitely benefit I don't use it every day as I have a few creams on the go but I'd say I use it twice a week at least and my skin looks great. Can't say the caviar eye cream or eye serum did much ..so those I think there are definitely better creams out there for the eye area But for the face this is a good investment so definitely I wouldn't listen to any poor reviews. That don't know what they're talking about ...I highly recommend this product.

Not worth the hype
I got a deluxe sample in an order as part of a special promotion. I had no idea of the cost of the cream until I came to do this review. I would have given this 3 stars but the price point warranted knocking off a star due to the lack of any visible results. In fairness, they do not actually give you many concrete statements that the product will do x or y...it doesn't even say that a certain percentage of people saw change over a period of time. So read the description carefully before you expect too much. This is a rich cream. That's all. It soaks in easily, despite it being rich and would work well for dry and very dry skin types. May feel heavy for oilier skin types. I saw no difference at all. I didn't expect miracles, but I have noticed differences with other products over a shorter time frame (such as increased brightness). The heavily perfumed smell reminds me of soap from many years ago and I think it may be off-putting for some people. Like the 111 skin black diamond cream, there is NO justification for the price tag in terms of the product's performance, having used this for a couple of weeks. Totally forgettable experience.

Lovely Luxe Cream
I received a sample of this cream as a gift with purchase and I think it's lovely to use. It has a good texture but it doesn't sit heavy on the skin. It is absorbed in to the skin easily and after use my skin felt soft and nourished. The reason for 4 stars is the price. Would I like to continue using this cream, yes absolutely! however I cannot afford the £500 price tag when there are creams in the market priced more reasonably that would do a similar job. It would make a lovely gift.

Rich
I received this gift from SpaceNK as a gift with a purchase. I used the sample after a festival to re nourish my skin and it is rich, fairly scented and surprisingly I didn’t love it. It didn’t give the glow up that I love from Tatcha and at £500 I would expect near miracles. It may be that this brand have a glow/anti ageing product but I’ll stay with the already expensive but worth it brands.

Rich and fragrant
This cream has a really smooth texture that's rich but light weight as its sinks into skin. Beautiful fragrance. Layers really well with other La pair skincare and also makeup from other brands too. Very supple, nourishing finish when used with serum beforehand.

nice, but the price
I had a small jar of this cream in one of the GWPs – it is a lovely moisturiser which absorbs well, gentle / causes no irritation, which is what moisturisers are supposed to do, so it would be insane to expect miracles, especially if one is over 40. Not a huge fan of the scent but it is not a deal breaker either. However, I am struggling to justify the price premium here as although there is nothing negative to say about this product, one would expect a bit more results for this price tag

Superior Cream
This is a superior face cream which sadly my skin loves my wallet less so I love the smell it smells like a high end spa The texture is sublime and is rich and luxurious but sinks in quick and easily my skin is firmed and lifted this is a treat for the skin expensive yes but worth every penny I appreciate at this price it’s not for everyone but if you can afford it try it I think you will love it
