Best facial care products

The first time I tried la mer was 30 years ago serendipitously. I walked into a Saks in the winter, my face raw from the cold and was greeted by the la mer rep, she saw my face and told me she had the perfect face cream for me. I put it on and felt immediate soothing relief and I haven’t changed since. There is a reason that La Mer does not have a huge selling campaign, their products speak for themselves and there is a very loyal base of customers that spread the word!

On repeat for a good reason

I have been using this cream for years. Sometimes I am tempted to try cheaper alternatives. But I always return. It's simply the best: hydrating, soothing and anti-ageing. And it's unscented, so it suits my sensitive skin. NB it is thick and you may need to warm it before applying, but it's worth that little bit of effort.

A nice treat

A beautifully rich, luxurious cream that leaves my skin feeling deeply nourished and soft. You can really tell it’s packed with quality ingredients. It’s definitely pricey, which is why I only gave it 4 stars, but as a treat or occasional splurge, it feels absolutely divine on the skin.

Best moisturiser of all time

This is definitely the goat of moisturisers. If your skin is going through a flare up, unsure what products are affecting it, skin is dull or damaged- just remove everything from your routine and use this on its own. It’s a saving grace! The only downside to this moisturiser is the price tag. I used to also buy the soft lotion but they discontinued it. I couldn’t recommend this product enough.

Delectable vream

I adore this cream. Its so nourishing and smells devine, clean and fresh .A little goes a long way. It's become really expensive in the time I've been using it, over 20 years, but I still love it. Sits beautiful under makeup and doesn't cause roll off.
