After some work, they're great!

First the positives: These work SO much better on my hair than the old velcro rollers I grew up using. My hair doesn't catch or break, and I can sleep in them if I get the placement just right. I was worried 6 wouldn't be enough, but for a soft bounce it's fine.Now the negatives: the set does not come with any way to secure the roller except bending it, which is not effective with the satin. I ended up using the small elastics for mini braids to hold the end of my hair to the roller, then proceed as the instructions said. The only way to control the size of the curl is to use less hair per roller for a tighter curl, and there are only six rollers, so for ringlets I need to do one side of my head at a time. Neither of these is a deal breaker for me because I budget a fair amount of time for doing my hair, but if you don't have that time to fiddle with it, you may want a different set

Amazing for voluminous curls even for shorter hair!

The rods are absolutely great, they give you nice, big curls, even if you have shorter hair, which is a huge win. Sleeping in them isn’t exactly the most comfortable thing, but the good part is you don’t need to wear them for long to get results. The curls come out so soft and natural because of the satin cover.

Good quality, do work but for long hair.

These are really great, but my hair is too short for the thickness of the ones I purchased so they don't work great. I tried them on my sister's long hair and they work great. I need to purchase the smaller ones for my length.

Flexi Rods

They are nice and work well, but are made for longer hair. I have shoulder length hair and it was too hard to put them I'm and keep them in. They would have worked better with longer hair. Also, need more than 6, buy 2.
