Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I bought the Stand Mixer 2 months ago and am loving the versatility of it. I make everything from bread to whip cream in it.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) It was on our 12-year anniversary that I purchased a KitchenAid mixer in early 2000 and have been enjoying it for 24 years now. My wife, who is a home baker, used the KitchenAid mixer several times a week, and during the COVID pandemic, I started making a special bread recipe for her every single week since then. Needless to say, we loved our mixer for its design and power. However, over time, the tilt-head had become loose, so I decided to upgrade. So, to surprise my wife this spring, I bought the Artisan series mixer, which has a good bowl handle and 75 more watts than our KitchenAid Classic. To my wife's surprise, while making her regular batch of 80 peanut butter cookies, the mixer appeared to labour after adding the final cup of flour. The next day, it was my turn to bake a batch of bread consisting of three 550-gram loaves. After combining all of the ingredients and starting to add the last cup of flour, I kneaded the dough at the "stir" speed, as I had done with our previous mixer for years. To my surprise, the mixer was having trouble handling it. I returned to the store, explained the situation, and was offered a replacement. Nonetheless, the mixer did not seem to perform any better than the previous one or my old KitchenAid Classic, which is why I'm writing you. I would appreciate your guidance on whether this model is known for such issues or if we might be using it incorrectly. As avid bakers, we rely heavily on a reliable mixer, and we hope to find a solution that allows us to continue enjoying our passion without frustration. Our old KitchenAid Classic, Ser. WL3338850, Mod. 4K45SSWH. 1st Artisan series Model Number: KSM150PSCU, Serial Number: WD4785251 Replacement; Artisan series, Serial no. WE0789214, Model no. KSM150SCU

The Kitchen Must-Have

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This one is to replace my 20+ year old Artiisan (which is now proudly owned by my University student grandson). I have been making all our bread, cakes, muffins for all those years. I really like the shield - my old one did not have that! Best kitchen tool there is!
