bowl doesn't fit securely
The mixer is handy for making homemade pasta and other dough. On our 5th use, the bowl could no longer be fixed in place on its base and almost went out of control when mixing. Had to strongly hold it in place to complete the job, quite dangerous.

Terrible item. Doesn’t lock. DO. NOT. BUY.
I just opened this brand new 4.5 qt replacement stainless steel bowl and am so disappointed. It doesn’t lock in place.

The Gold Standard
KitchenAid has long been the gold standard for stand mixers. Now that I'm in my 60s I'm able to spend more time preparing food, so I purchased this great piece of kitchen hardware. I love it.

Mixing bowl
Purchased as an xtra bowl for my small mixer. Worked swell the first two times and then it wouldn’t fit properly on the base and wobbles back & forth as it mixes. I can’t use it. Not a quality product as the original kitchen aide.

Bowl stuck to stand
I thought by now they would have fixed the issue with the bowl getting stuck on the mixer by using better quality materials. To loosen the bowl you have to pour oil in the creases. Ridiculous and messy!
