    Much like a Master Perfumer who crafts accords and essences in a perfume, a Master Blender combines the eaux-de-vie in perfect proportions for an exceptional cognac. Angels' Share contains the essence of cognac derived from the liquor to lend it a natural caramel color. Opening with cognac oil, upon a blend of oak absolute, cinnamon essence and tonka bean absolute, the scent's long-lasting notes of sandalwood, praline and vanilla make for a delicious finish, a rare concoction only angels should experience.

    Introducing a new olfactive family, Kilian Hennessy pays tribute to his heritage, as heir to the renowned French cognac-making family, and to his choice olfactory intoxicants for driving the night toward dawn. A first-time collaboration with French perfumer Benoist Lapouza, the perfume Angels' Share is Kilian Hennessy's most personal fragrance creation yet, inspired by his eighth-generation inheritance of Hennessy savoir-faire in cognac making. The perfume goes deep into the cellars of founder's mind and memory, and into its most mysterious dimension: "la part des anges."

Amazing

Love

Absolutely love this perfume. I blind bought this, and omg I wish I had of bought it earlier. This last all day and night on me, I would say it’s a winter scent. But if it smells this good am wearing it all the time. I normally dismiss a unisex perfume because sometimes I find them for the males. But this one doesn’t on me, it goes through stages as it settles. And the vanilla ending is so nice.

not actually boozy, but nutty woods

This was included in the SNK Fragrance Calendar, and is the first fragrance from this line that I have tried. Firstly, I do not find it boozy at all, it does not smell of cognac (and I have visited their distillery) at all to me, though there are some very sweet notes that could be interpreted as semi-dried grapes or as honey. It is described as gourmand, but while this is indeed sweet, it is not sugary. There is a rich nuttiness with a tiny edge of sharpness to it, that prevents this. The wood is very present in the form of oak, which is probably where the sharper element is coming from. I got no amber, or discernable sandalwood. It did not project excessively, but lasted well while going quite quiet relatively quickly (I am a light sprayer). The dry down whispers sweet woodsy vanilla. Overall, we were neutral about the opening, and liked the rest but not enough to consider purchase. Glad to have tried it though.

Absolutely adore this fragrance! It’s a truly lovely winter scent, warm and comforting yet elegant. The longevity is incredible, lasts all day without fading or changing scent. Compliments flow in whenever I wear it. Perfect for date night or winter months, reminds me of cinnamon

Intoxicating

Where to start? This isn’t just a nice smell, it’s so much more, it’s sitting in a dark room with a roaring fire and and a crystal glass of cognac. The warm and spicy scent opens and dries down to a sexy warm of unspoken dreams and sweetness disguised behind the intoxicating scent of whiskey and warmth. A grown up scent filled with spice and allure.

I never thought I would be writing a review about a perfume used thats top notes were cognac - But I love it - originally had as a small tester in an advent calendar and the first time used it was stopped and asked what I was wearing - I kne this was a good sign - its strong and evocative and powerful and stand out - LOVE IT
