Not Worth It

started getting some discoloration a few months after purchasing. We have only washed by hand and the gold color is fading away and they are easily scratched. when stacked in a drawer the embossed logo on the underside of the piece rubs onto the top of others and scratches. These Definitly are not dishwasher safe at all. haven't tried it but I can tell you looking at the damage with only handwashing. I know gold doesn't hold up. if I knew this was the situation with these I probably would have just bought a cheaper set and replaced a year or 2 down the line. paid full price for 8 settings. almost a thousand dollars and they looked pretty beat up after a few months.

Was beautiful, until they all lost their color

I received both the gold and rose gold place settings for my wedding off my Bloomingdales registry. Within a year (Without a dishwasher mind you - all hand washed) - the gold had completely come off and the rose gold started to look like tarnished copper. So disappointing considering how expensive the sets were, and worse yet - Bloomingdales said it was passed the return window, so I just have to live with ugly, uncolored flatware now.

Lovely set!

I'm in love with this set. Which it had more pieces that came with it though. The finish is absolutely beautiful and they feel very heavy and high quality. I will definitely have to purchase a few more to complete the set for my house. Definitely want to implement these for dinner parties. Love the gold!

OMG this is the most beautiful piece of silverware that I have ever owned. I got the gold five.piece.plaxe setting and it is breathtaking. Very heavy and sturdy. Most beautiful place setting that i habe evrr.owned period.

Nice!

The Kate Spade Malmo Gold 5-pc Plate Setting is a beautiful gold color. Very vibrant! The silverware itself is heavy duty. The butter knife is a nice two tone color with a gold handle and silver blade. All in all this is a very high quality durable set. It comes nicely boxed. Beautiful!

Love This Flatware!

I love this flatware we chose for our wedding registry! It is chic and functional. Dishwasher safe. I love the gold, but also love the silver on the knife. Perfect!
