The Portuguese stoneware ceramics echo the same artisanal production as Juliska glassware. Juliska has developed a variety of exquisite transparent, opaque, and metallic glazes on a tough Portuguese stoneware body. All are lead-free and each has the same tough durability to handle the most demanding everyday use.
Described as the architects of togetherness, Capucine and David Gooding were newlyweds when they founded Juliska as an homage to the joy of bringing people together and curating a home filled with happiness. Starting with just a small collection of mouth-blown glasses in 2001, Juliska has grown to offer hundreds of items for the home and table—including the brand's iconic glassware, which is produced in the hills outside Prague by master glass-blowers using 15th-century techniques.
