Perfect for nuts at the fireside or candies on your desk. Portuguese stoneware ceramics echo the same artisanal production as Juliska glassware. They have developed a variety of exquisite transparent, opaque, and metallic glazes on a tough Portuguese stoneware body. They were exactly as I expected! Great size for so many things. I plan to serve ice cream sundaes at a dinner party, but will also use for berries and yogurt.

Love these Dishes!

Juliska is a great quality, reasonable (didn't say inexpensive) set of dinnerware. Lots of choices of pieces--and several of the patterns all work well together.. It is great for everyday use but also able to dress it up for a 'nice' dinner with guests. Some might say it is a little on the 'heavy' side but just feels 'substantial' to me. How can you not like the Thread and Berry pattern?

Great little bowl

I added these bowls to my Juliska set recently and they provide the perfect in-between size bowl for desserts, snacks, and berries (of course). The Juliska Berry & Thread dinnerware offers the best of everything - durability, usefulness, selections, and style, and Bloomingdales is always the best place to shop!
