Soft Shirt Jacket

I cannot justify wearing a leather shirt, and so I purchased this as a jacket. I got my regular size (54) and the chest and body is true-to-size. However, for a shirt function I'd reach for 52. The jacket is nice and aesthetically pleasing, but in my view has a few flaws: First, the dying process resembles that of cheaper manufacturing, and this means that the jacket will likely lose color against even minor friction (Don't even think wearing a backpack, or even a messenger bag over this). Second, the sleeves are way too long on the size 54, and acceptable on 52. This makes the chest-sleeve balance out of whack. Give me the vintage short sleeve of the 80s, I cry! Anyway, I got it on sale and will likely get some use of it.
