Cute but not comfortable

Truthfully, these jeans are only comfortable when I’m standing up. When I sit, there is this hard ball of denim that hurts my crotch area (hope that’s not too much information). There must be too much fabric and I’m hoping I can still return them - I think I’d like a bit more stretch. These (the zeal color) are not comfortable and for the price point, I’m disappointed.
