Burned my skin

I usually love Joanna Vargas products. This was a miss for me. I have sensitive skin and this serum left me with burning red patches all over my face and neck.

Love it! (Except the scent)

Love the serum. My skin feels amazing in the morning and it's an easy consistency to settle before using a moisturizer. Four stars because I hate the scent and find it so unnecessary.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Joanna Vargas Twilight Serum is such a soothing and hydrating serum.' It has a lightweight milky texture that just melts into the skin, without feeling tacky on the skin.' It contains a mix of incredible natural ingredients like shea butter Centella Asiatica, and Niacinamide.' I have been using this as part of my morning and evening skincare routine and it has added some much needed hydration which has done a great job of plumping my fine lines and wrinkles, helping diminish some signs of aging.' Joanna Vargas TWILIGHT Repairing and Hydrating Night Serum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Joanna Vargas has formulated a different type of serum consistency than I have been used to which is milky. My apprehension began with that, proceeded with not absorbing as quick as others then topped by a scent which didn't work for me. I have been an esthetician myself for over 30 years and appreciate that this founder comes form there. As much as the Twilight Repairing and Hydrating Night Serum had aspects that weren't favorable, the results were there, my skin feels great, soft and hydrated. I did get used to letting this soak in before applying a evening cream moisturizer (Joanna Vargas), which is normal for most but give this one more time. These worked very well together, my skin felt great in the morning, not too heavy at all. As for the scent not being appealing, it maybe from my current medications, that ph does change things. I do love the list of plant based ingredients that are extensive and power packed for optimal hydration but don't have any dramatic before/after photos to reveal anything more than it feels great. **This review was created through an educational promotional event hosted between the brand and beauty experts.**
