Air pockets
Love the scent but super annoyed about the air pockets. It not only takes away from the "~45hr burn time" but I also would like to get my moneys worth of the actual candle and not air. I wish i could show the air gaps head on because they're actually quite large, but you can only see them from an angle. Won't be ordering candles online anymore. Will have to wait until I can see them in person to shop.

We are happy to address your conern. "Pull away" is what can appear to be air bubbles around the sides of filled candles. This occurs as the wax expands and contracts within the glass depending on the temperature of the surrounding area. This is characteristic of all waxes. The "bubbles" are purely aesthetic and are unavoidable due to the nature of the wax. It does not affect the burn performance of the candle in any way as what you see is not a bubble at all, but just where the wax has pulled away from the side of the glass. Once a candle is lit and the wax warms up, the pull away will disappear altogether. If it has not disappeared after lighting please let us know and we will help arrange a replacement. Disappointed
Jo Malone is a great product. I buy it often for my wife. I mostly purchase with macys. This time around was a horrible experience. I ordered on line, two differ t scent and sizes. When received, the items had been tampered with. They were packaged together although they were two different purchases and scents. For the price I paid I would expect what I paid for. This was not a comfortable feeling. I had no choice but to return and miss out on gifting my loved ones. This will probably be the last time I purchase on-line.

AN UNEXPECTED, STAND ALONE DELIGHT
I originally purchased Honeysuckle & Davana for the purpose of scent pairing and for playing with the Jo Malone fragrances already in my collection. It was a total blind buy, so I was pleasantly surprised by how warm, playful, and pleasurable it is. It definitely could be a stand alone signature scent, but it also brings so much as a complimentary fragrance when paired with other Jo Malone colognes. It is a feminine floral with touches of soft, earthy moss. It smells clean and invigorating with a bright burst of warm white blossoms. For me, a scent is a winner if it brings me joy-- and this is happiness in a bottle. It is lovely as a stand alone fragrance, but pairs beautifully with Cardamom & Mimosa, Poppy & Barley, and English Pear & Freesia.
