The nuanced darkness of the buckwheat honey, the fragrance's main olfactory inspiration, together with the flowers lurking beneath the surface, and the accents of the aldehydes, are key in this original, elegant fragrance. Jil Sander Miel Eau de Parfum is the smell of home when everything is peaceful and clear.

    Olfactory Series 1, the first Jil Sander fragrance collection under the direction of Lucie and Luke Meier, fuses botany and technology in six minimalist, unisex formulas in which the olfactory marks of aldehydes cut across key ingredients, giving every fragrance unique shapes and volumes.

  • About The Bottle

    Thanks to a long series of experiments led by the designers with an exceptionally skilled glass manufacturer, each bottle has a non-symmetrical shape and a unique glass repartition. At a closer look, small random imperfections make them all singular, like the persons who will make the fragrances their own. The bell-shaped white aluminum cap that covers the container performs a practical and an aesthetic function. It protects the fragrance from light, but when it is removed to apply the fragrance, it leads to a gesture that suggests holding a precious and personal creation.

Smell

The smell is ABSOLUTELY DELISH!!! Is so gentle yet strong in its own way. I’m obsessed with the packaging. Definitely worth the price, a lot of product compare to other perfumes.

Luxurious & Romantic. Light sweet notes of honey.

Sweet like honey - with a slight notes of light floral musk. Makes sense as later learned the name, Miel is Spanish for Honey- The longer it set on my skin, the more I liked it. Something about it becomes cozy yet romantic. Packaging is cute. And very travel friendly the way the ‘cap’ fits over entire bottle, not just the spray top which can sometimes fall off if just tossed in suitcase My opinion is this is a little more of a mature scent- I don’t think this would be one I would have grabbed in my teens, or 20’s I am absolutely in love with the packaging! It is a level of extra that screams luxury I want to gift to all my besties! And the bonus fact it is refillable- genius!

Honey

Miel in Spanish translates to Honey. This certainly lives up to its name with its realistic interpretation of honey. Top notes of aldehydes and jasmine; middle notes of honey and cedar wood; base note of vetevir. It’s certainly a standout scent and sets itself apart from other fragrances due to its unique scent profile. Minimalistic bell shaped bottle. Atomizer delivers the perfect amount of fragrance that lasts all days. It’s something that can be worn any time of day. The cost may deter people from purchasing compared to other scents/price points in the luxury perfume category. This scent probably wouldn’t be one that I would have purchased for myself.

not my favorite smell

the bottle is super pretty and looks nice in my room, but i’m not really in love with the scent. it’s not terrible, just not my favorite compared to others i’ve tried. performance-wise it stays a long time which is nice though. it’s very strong so if you don’t like it it’s hard to wear

Smells good !

My new favorite perfume!

How can I sum up this perfume in one word? Luxury! It smells so good that four people all agreed it smells amazing with hints of honey mixed with the Jasmine Grandiflorum and cedarwood! Such a perfect blend of woodsy and floral! The packaging screams, classy, and clean, definitely a new favorite of mine.
