    In this modern ambery, spicy fragrance, made of unexpected associations, the aldehydes highlight the warmth of osmanthus from China, cinnamon from Sri Lanka and CO2-extracted black tea. The idea was to play with very deep and intense matter, of traveling without moving, using the faculty of the senses to exceed the ordinary, taking us elsewhere. Jil Sander Black Tea Eau de Parfum has a smoky, black leather tonality.

    Olfactory Series 1, the first Jil Sander fragrance collection under the direction of Lucie and Luke Meier, fuses botany and technology in six minimalist, unisex formulas in which the olfactory marks of aldehydes cut across key ingredients, giving every fragrance unique shapes and volumes.

  • About The Bottle

    Thanks to a long series of experiments led by the designers with an exceptionally skilled glass manufacturer, each bottle has a non-symmetrical shape and a unique glass repartition. At a closer look, small random imperfections make them all singular, like the persons who will make the fragrances their own. The bell-shaped white aluminum cap that covers the container performs a practical and an aesthetic function. It protects the fragrance from light, but when it is removed to apply the fragrance, it leads to a gesture that suggests holding a precious and personal creation.

I was really looking forward to trying it, but sadly, I didn’t like it. I expected something warm, calming, and smooth — like a cozy cup of tea — but this perfume didn’t give me that feeling at all. Right from the first spray, it smelled very sharp and a bit sour on my skin.

Perfect beautiful package!

Probably the most beautiful package for a perfume that I ever saw. It’s really gorgeous! The fragrance stays the entire day. Even after shower I could still feel it. It’s very strong. I recommend more for nights and winter.

Great product

I really like the packaging. It looks stunning. The scent is fresh and light, not overwhelming. It’s a warm, sweet fragrance with subtle tea notes. But on my skin, it only lasts 2-3 hours before fading.

Sophisticated, warm and spicy cinnamon black tea s

A warm and spicy black tea fragrance with a hint of freshness at the top from the aldehydes. I love the warmth and spiciness that the cinnamon gives this tea scent for added depth. This scent is perfect for fall and winter and feels cozy, comforting and enveloping. The fragrance is ambery and spicy with smoky, leathery facets from the osmanthus. I get a subtle sweetness which makes it a great unisex scent. For me, I would love to layer this with a creamy vanilla scent for a more feminine cinnamon tea latte vibe. This has moderate longevity and sillage but not overpowering. I like the unique cloche packaging design.
