Celine Dion called. She wants her dress back.

I ordered this in Cardinal for my son's November wedding and am writing this review as a warning to anyone considering this piece. This is not a dress - it is a costume. It is appropriate for the red carpet or a stage in Las Vegas. Had I worn this to the wedding I would have looked ridiculous. I know how Jenny Packham dresses are designed (strong shoulders and intricate beading) but I thought at 5'8" I could pull it off. No. Besides being terribly heavy, the dress is fitted with shoulder pads that create an unattractive silhouette. Either Jenny Packham or the third-party seller looped a white ribbon through this monstrosity to make sure it can't be worn and returned. Regrettably, the ribbon and numerous security tags make it impossible for the customer to get a good look at the dress when trying it on. I wore it for less than a minute before packing it up to be returned. As Bloomingdale's acts as the middle man for the seller, I expect my refund will be delayed indefinitely.
