Great quality but odd fit

I love the quality of Jenni Kayne sweaters and this one is no exception. Unfortunately the "cropped cocoon" shape was an odd fit for me. I expected an oversized boyfriend cardigan style, but the sleeves and body of the cardigan kind of bend outwards and then back in like parentheses () which is hard to appreciate from the product images. I ended up looking egg-shaped from my shoulders to my hips. I ordered my usual size (medium) in this brand and I would say this sweater is true to size, just the shape didn't work for me. I am 5'11" so maybe a non-cropped version of this sweater would be better shape-wise. Luscious soft thick-knit cashmere as always with Jenni Kayne, and the color in person is just like the product images, a cool toned brown-gray. Disappointed that I have to return this but maybe it would work better on a different body type.
