I feel the sound was poor for the size and wattage that is produces. . Very unimpressed. Have to look elswherr for better sounds

Thank you for your feedback. We're here to help you with your JBL Xtreme 4. Feel free to try these troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue. Try adjusting the device volume to 75%-100% and adjust the volume of the speaker to your desired level. You may also try connecting the speaker to a different device (phone/tablet/music player/etc.). Last step will be the reset, turn the speaker and press and hold the Volume (+) & Play buttons for more than 3 seconds until the speaker turns off. Best speaker I've ever owned

I bought this speaker last year It's still hard to wrap my mind around it being waterproof, but this is also the best speaker I've ever owned. I've never been unhappy with the JBL product ever before 🥰

Not too happy

So this is my 4th jbl speaker, I have an extreme 3 and 2 clip 5's plus this extreme 4. Just went rafting down the grand canyon with all 4 speakers and the extreme 4 gave me nothing but problems. It would randomly disconnect from Bluetooth and would become unresponsive to all buttons while constantly chiming to the point I almost threw it overboard. Also, it wouldn't charge off of any of my spare batteries, even though all three other jbl's charged fine off of them. Never had any problems out of the other 3 speakers so I don't know whats up with this one. Really hope jbl takes care of me on this product as im a huge fan and I would love nothing more than to rewrite this review and give them 5 stars.

Works Like a Speaker

I have had this now for a few weeks. Clear sound and deep base for a small speaker. Connections right up. Battery holds a charge well - I have listened to it for about 15 hours now and one charge.

cheapest bluetooth product, dollar store better

I have the extreme 4 and clip 5. Both have horrible bluetooth! I wish I did not purchase them, they are so bad! I do like the sound when they work! Sometimes when they do connect, if they are moved, the signal gets lost with their movement. What is wrong with JBL. I am afraid to purchase another JBL product!
