I fell in love with the necklace online because I liked the way the chain is part of the pendant (not the normal 'charm' style pendant that we often see). I went to the store to check it out for myself as I wanted to get one with my daughter's initial. The necklace is pretty in person but one thing that isn't clear from the pictures is that the diamonds are set on top of the disc...they are not inlaid. It gives it a weird sort of look at first as the finish doesn't seem very smooth or polished. Ultimately, I liked it more than the other things they had in stock so I ended up getting it but there's a 50-50 chance I'll end up returning it. I'm just not sold on the design just yet.
