Nice looking, heavier than expected.
While this robe appeared to be well made and did look like the photos online, the weight of it was truly surprising, which is why I'm only giving it 3 stars, and why I had to return (and I rarely return anything!). This was ordered as a gift for my elderly mother, and frankly, I don't think she could lift it to hang it on her bathroom "robe hook," while I expected terry to have some heft to it, this is heavier that most.

Velour? Really?
When I think of velour, I imagine that wonderfully soft material they use to make pants and track suits. I trusted this robe would be the same. It was not. The inside of the robe...the part that actually touches your skin...is indistinguishable from basic terry cloth. The outside is technically velour, but the patterns on the robe cause the soft touch of the velour to feel rigid. In addition to those issues, the robe is rather bulky, both having too much fabric and too much stuffing. I ended up returning it, which I've never done with a robe before. I could have kept it and let guests wear it, but the cost of it was just enough to get me to return it.
