Perfect for men

As a guy I’ve always wanted to find a lightweight concealer for little blemishes or red spots. This one is the best out of all I’ve tried. Blends beautifully into the skin.

Nothing special

I did have high hopes for this concealer but it really wasn’t anything at all special for me. I wanted it for my under eyes because it’s light in texture and I didn’t think would crease. It was definitely too drying for me in that area but also just not at all brightening. I need a concealer with a tiny touch of luminosity and this has none.

Revives tired eyes

Tried this as part of having my makeup done with other Hourglass products as recommended by my beautician. I like how this is lighter for under the eyes so it’s not cakey and doesn’t gather in the creases. That said it still brightens and makes me look less tired!

Just another concealer

I really wanted to like this product but at the end of the day it’s just a concealer and didn’t really do anything that my existing ones don’t already do. Not sure I’d buy again

Definitely top product

Working for a high-end makeup retailer, I have seen my fair share of beauty products. But Hourglass Veil Retouching Fluid is definitely at the top of my list! This product makes it so easy to achieve that shimmery, glossed up look without having to go through all that heavy makeup. And the best thing is, it's completely sheer and you don't have to worry about it clogging your pores or leaving

A good addition

I am an Hourglass addict and like to try all their products and very rarely disappointed! I purchased this after watching a makeup clip on YouTube by Rosie HW and she used this and really rates it. It is not the full coverage of a concealer but as a lighter finish and touch up during the day it really lifts the face especially eye area. I purchased it in Fair which although quite light suits my skin colour.

I use this as a concealer

I actually use this sheer liquid as a concealer for under my eyes! It gives an illuminating effect, and is thin so doesn’t cake up under the eyes. I found this as a substitute for Bare Minerals stroke of light that was discontinued. If you’re looking for full coverage this is not your girl. Love it tho!

Not a concealer

First, don't buy this if you want a concealer. This does not conceal dark circles (but it also doesn't promise to do so) and provides very VERY little "coverage". The key is to read the product description carefully if you cannot get to a store to try it. I purchased this on a whim while in store to pick up an order. Unfortunately products can't be tried in store the way you used to but on the back of my hand the shade "Almond" seemed a good fit, and it is. I use the Hourglass concealer in Umber and sometimes I will use the Nars creamy concealer, Kevyn Aucoin or Pat McGrath concealers, all of which "conceal" blemishes/dark circles. I only use this product for days when I don't want to use a concealer, or look "made up", or if I want to brighten my under eye area after using a concealer. I cannot use this on its own for a made-up look, for e.g. and this really is for someone who wants a no make up look with a little brightness or who has virtually no dark circles. I think there are probably cheaper products that do the same thing, possibly even better (Smashbox for example). I would not re-purchase as I don't use it that often as I tend to need coverage but I also knew that this was not for concealing when I bought it based on consistency and the description so I can't be mad at that! This is advertised as a product that provides sheer coverage and brightens the areas you apply it to, it does exactly that!
