Glides on beautifully

This is the first time I have used foundation from this brand having become tired of others and needed to refresh my take up bag. this doesn't disappoint. It glides on seamlessly and the colouring is great. though a bit expensive I highly recommend this product too

Good foundation

Gives you a very natural look but still with medium coverage, very glowy and smooth foundation look. Goes on very easily and I found it really easy to blend as well , it is definitely not a full coverage foundation but perfect for summer when you need something light

Great as a concealer

Really like this on top of well hydrated skin to cover under eye dark patches or spots that need hiding. It’s really good for photographs too. Easy to apply with the stick or a finger. The porcelain shade is perfect. A great emergency concealer for days when my regular foundation (I use some light coverage ones) isn’t enough.

I really wanted this to work…

Lovely and smooth but it did not suit my skin type.. I really wanted this to work but although it went on smooth, it stuck to my dry patches and did not look smooth on. It showed all my pores and no matter how i prepped my skin, it came on thick and did not blend well.

A great foundation

Really recommend this foundation stick for medium/fuller coverage that still looks natural. Easy to apply and blends well to leave a great finish that isn’t caked or heavy. Just a few swipes is enough. I tend to use this more for when I want a more ‘finished’ or polished makeup. Would repurchase.

I've found my holy grail

By far the best foundation I've used. Goes smoothly over my sunscreen (silicone based - so a silicone based primer does the trick in the evenings too) and applies well with the hourglass brushes. No need to set; I usually finish off with Dim Light and it lasts hours. Love this

So good for any skin types

The formula is buttery and smooth, making it easy to apply directly from the stick. If you're looking for a foundation that provides a polished, photo-ready finish with minimal effort, this one is a choice. Yes the price is high however it’s definitely worth it for the coverage and finish the foundation gives. There’s a variety of shades for all tones and skin colours and this works really well on most skin types. I have combination skin and it’s good at staying in one place and not moving. Some light powder through the day and this still looks great hours later!

Not my favourite

The Hourglass Foundation Stick is decent, but it didn’t quite live up to my expectations. The texture is creamy and smooth, and it does provide good coverage with a natural, skin-like finish. However, I found that it can be a little tricky to blend and sometimes doesn’t sit as well on dry patches. It also didn’t last as long on my oily areas as I’d hoped, and I had to touch up throughout the day. On the plus side, the shade range is impressive, and it has a sleek, portable design. Overall, it's a good foundation, but I’ve used others that offer better staying power and blendability.
