Overpriced

Hourglass products are definitely at a higher price point than other brands but some of them are more than worth the money - the loose powder and tubing mascara in particular. I don't feel like this primer is in that category though. It's not necessarily a bad product but there are primers that deliver the same, or better, results at a much lower price point. I also found the packaging frustrating as I was left with quite a lot of product in the bottle which I couldn't get out.

Doesn’t stand out

This priming moisturizer feels smooth on the skin and adds a slight radiance, which can help foundation glide on more easily. It offers a touch of hydration and a soft blurring effect, but the results are subtle—almost too subtle to warrant the luxury price tag. It doesn’t dramatically improve the wear time of makeup or deliver long-lasting hydration, which makes it feel more like an average primer with a fancier label. For the cost, you’d expect more noticeable results, especially when many multitasking primers on the market do the same job for far less. It’s fine, but it doesn’t stand out.

Smooth base for makeup

Hourglass Illusion Priming Moisturiser is my new discovery. Very luxurious as the earlier formulation and generally all Hourglass products. Gives a very nice smooth, even , poreless base for the make up and helps to last all day long. Absorbs quickly, easily, no greasy feeling.

i use this everyday as my primer for my skin tint and it makes my skin look absolutely amazing! it doesn’t leave my skin patchy or dry and makes it look really natural looking. highly recommend! will be buying for my friend in the future as a birthday treat

Nice

I was excited to try this moisturiser, it glides onto your skin with ease and absorbs quickly, it leaves your skin with a glow and I found that my makeup sat well over the top and did last longer throughout the day and stayed put from morning to night. I’ll definitely keep this in my routine
