This coat is made of a really nice wool. The wool feels like top-notch cashmere, actually. I bought it in Kyanite Green and it's a lovely peacock green. The UK shops sizes have been consistent over the years - no vanity sizing. I ordered a size 6 (UK 10) - I wear size 2-4 in US brands.

Excellent Tailored Lush Wool Coat
The feel of this coat is so lush due to its 100% wool. Even the lining feels silkier than most coats. It’s the best tailored coat I’ve ever tried. I grew up with a sewing machine so I especially appreciate the fine tailoring details. There is an internal breast pocket like one finds on men’s suit. The lining is handstitched around the neck like custom men’s suits. For sizing information , I’m 5’6”, 36DD, waist 33”, hips 40”. A size 10 fits a little snug with a sweater underneath. I decided on a size 12 which gives me extra room for an even heavier sweater and also gives me extra movement while driving. If a Hobbs coat goes on sale, don’t hesitate to purchase a beautiful tailored upscale coat unlike any other coat at the sale price. I got this coat on sale for $470, and though I don’t need another, I am watching 3 other Hobbs coats for a sale; they are that luxurious.

Classic cut with a modern flair
The coat is a beautiful dark teal color...the pictures online do not do it justice. It is a classic coat, high quality wool and the vibrant color gives it a modern twist. It is a slim flattering fit. highly recommend.

Hobbs stunning wool coat
This coat is extremely high quality. Since it dies not come in black, I purchased the turquoise, called a green in the description, but it is truly a gorgeous turquoise. I will wear it with black, stunning and fits perfectly. I found it ran a bit small, no worries, I went up a size and it’s perfect.
