What It Is

Silky Lipstick Shine is inspired by the luster of Hermès silk. Like a veil of color and shine, this new lipstick enhances the lips with subtle color of buildable intensity to create the desired level of coverage. Gregoris Pyrpylis, Creative Director of Hermès Beauty, has created a palette of sensual beiges, vibrant reds and subtle pinks.

  • What It Does

    The melting texture of Silky Lipstick Shine glides onto the lips, leaving a light and comfortable veil of translucent color. Its light to medium coverage offers buildable intensity, for looks ranging from a soft, sheer wash of color to a more intense result. The hybrid makeup and lip-care formula provides comfort and hydration from the moment it is applied. Formulated with oils and butters, it contains active ingredients that care for the lips: hydrating and plumping raspberry leaf extract, smoothing and softening sesame seed extract, nourishing and protecting Abyssinian oil, white mulberry. The scent, created by Hermès perfumer Christine Nagel, combines delicate arnica, sandalwood and angelica.

  • How To Use It

    - For flawlessly defined or subtly ombré lips, use the Trait d'Hermès lip pencil (sold separately) before applying Silky Lipstick Shine.
    - The slim, beveled shape of the lipstick bullet allows for easy, instinctive and generous application. Depending on the intensity of the desired look, apply one or more coats.

Luxury personified

Luxury personified through color payoff and the lipstick , I wouldn’t expect any less from Hermes. From the iconic orange packaging to the sleekness of the lipstick bullet, the shade is beautiful but you can build it up in intensity with layering.

Shine lipstick

The packaging of this product is gorgeous. It feels so luxurious. The shade I go is a beautiful red with a hint of orange to it. It is very pigmented for a shine lipstick. It feels great on my lips. It is long lasting on my lips. Perfect shade for spring summer. So happy to be gifted by Hermes complimentary for reviewing purposes.

Fabulous lipsticks. Long lasting and so soft.

This lipstick immediately melts into my lips and is so soft and creamy. It lasts pretty much all day. The packaging is so classy and refined with Hermes signature flair. The magnetic bullet tube is fabulous and refillable. I’m saving this one for special occasions. Gifted by Hermes.

So luxurious

This is the most beautiful lipstick I’ve ever put on my lips. It has the most perfect sheen and translucency to it and it glides on your lips so perfectly I couldn’t be more obsessed. For day time I like to just dab it on for a little pop of color and then at night I’ll do a full swipe application. Also in true Hermes form the packaging it absolutely stunning.

So very Luxe

This lipstick is absolutely beautiful and screams luxe in every way possible. Everything from the outer packaging to the tube itself to the smell. It was fun to open and even more fun to apply and wear. The color is your perfect neutral toned red that makes your teeth look white. Very cute and I wouldn’t mind having more colors! Gifted for review purposes.
