The Sunset is Helix's softest memory foam model providing great contouring and pressure relief for your hips and shoulders. This mattress combines 3 layers of high-density foam with hundreds of individually wrapped steel coils and features reinforced edge support to provide excellent motion isolation and durability.

    The Sunset mattress is made with our Breathe Knit fabric, offering sleepers a soft, breathable feel on the surface of the mattress. Soft Gel Memory Foam provides a pressure relieving feel that cradles your hips and shoulders.

    Responsive Foam with a soft firmness is designed to cradle and contour to your body for optimal support and comfort. A secondary layer of Responsive Foam with a soft firmness level provides additional ergonomic support & cushioning.

Love if!

The perfect balance of soft and support. I really wanted a nice soft marshmallow bed and this bed is so soft and comfy but still provides enough back support. I will say I’m small (5’3” and 100 pounds) - I could see how a larger / heavier person might find this bed too soft

I was surprised how firm

I was surprised how firm the sunset turned out to be. I thought the gel foam top layers would prevent the feel of the packed coils but I still feel them. Would have liked a softer feel of a springless memory foam mattress. I am currently looking for a foam mattress topper to add a softer feel to the current mattress.

Not impressed. Expected it to be way more plush

If you're looking for something close to ultra plush, this isn't it. Also, I ordered a King and it's two inches shorter on the corners, which in Helix's terms and conditions they specify that, but it's a little misleading. This mattress is okay in but not worth the price

Not the soft, plush, cozy

Better once broken in

Perfect for lightweight side sleepers

I'm happy. I'm a lightweight (125lbs) side sleeper and it's perfect. It took nearly 2 weeks for the stench to fade with a box fan in the window and the bedroom door mostly closed with no sheets on it yet, so be prepared for that.
