whatever happened to quality leather?

The Gucci Sierra GG Slide Sandal has a wonderful look online. However, the leather is as hard as metal (I would be in my 90's when it might possiblly soften up.). Not the quality of my other Gucci shoes; this one will make it to the sale rack.

Is it Gucci?

Disappointed. Uncomfortable. Rough leather. My usual size is 9.5 I ordered 10 and they are small. When you try to walk they have no arch support

Very Disappointed in GUCCI

Very disappointed with this Gucci sandal. Purchased for my Summer vacation. Leather is rock hard, not the quality you’d expect from an Italian product. Very uncomfortable fit, more like a cheaper shoe that digs in to your skin and doesn’t conform to your foot. Nothing like my other Gucci shoes. Would NOT recommend.
