Good Rice Cooker w/Flaws

Have a flashlight to see the water lines in the pot otherwise it is virtually impossible to see the water lines. Whatever the programmed cooking time is from the menu, dial it back 5 minutes or you will have mush. Be sure to grease the bottom ( I use ghee) or the rice will stick. Lastly reduce the water or increase the rice ( trial & error ) or you’ll have overcooked rice.

It would be better if the power cord were stable

The 8-cup cooked capacity is somewhat small. It cooks perfectly if uncooked rice is not over 2 cups. Unfortunately, there is no larger version available. The significant issue with the cooker is the power cord being too loose. I have to adjust it very often; otherwise, the cooker doesn't have power.

Great rice cooker

My family loves this rice cooker. It was able to do multiple things not only cook rice. We were able to steam our veggies and keep them warm. It was just enough cups for my family. It didn’t burn the bottom of my rice like other rice cookers and my rice didn’t get spoiled even after a couple days. Excellent product

Great

This Green Pan elite 8 cup induction rice cooker works great! So far I have used it to make white rice, brown rice, quinoa and mexican rice. Ive seen several people say they have used an induction rice cooker to cook other things, besides rice, and I cant wait to try! It was super easy to clean.

Yum!

A small unit that is worth it - makes rice perfect. Easy to use one I realized there are markings on the inner pan lol... took me a second to figure it all out and I Cook a lot! I usually make rice in my instant pot but I like the ability to have a smaller unit and use the two at the same time!

Perfect Rice Every Time

This rice cooker appliance is modern and functional. It takes little space in the kitchen but has a good capacity to cook for all our needs. The rice turns out perfect every time. It has several other options, but I mainly use it for rice cooking. I enjoy the even heat distribution and the easy clean up afterwards. This is my first rice cooker, and I am excited to be using it for many years to come.

Amazing!

The GreenPan Elite Induction Rice Cooker is amazing! I can’t believe how easy it is to use and clean. The cooker makes the rice cook evenly throughout the pot, which makes every grain nice and fluffy. The control panel is really easy to use. The options are White Rice, Brown Rice, Quinoa, Steel Cut Oats, and Soup. I’ve used the White, Brown, and Quinoa so far and it cooks evenly for each one. The bowl is incredibly easy to clean and even dishwasher safe. I love how fast it cooks and the sleek design. I would definitely recommend this rice cooker!

Sleek and easy to use

I love that this feels durable and not made of plastic. It’s ceramic so it’s easy to cook and cooks very well. The only thing that was not intuitive is that you have to hold the button for like two seconds to select something, it’s not just a tap. I love that there’s a built in steamer too. I’ve only used it to cook rice and steam and they work great for that. I can’t wait to try it for soup and quinoa. I love that it also has a timer that tells you how long it’s been keeping the ride warm since it was done cooking.
