Pretty dress but too long

Beautiful dress and pattern but it is way too long for me.

Too much gathering

I love the look of the dress and the fabric is beautiful. There is nice gathering around the waist which is flattering. Unfortunately the gathering goes up high to the bust line which isn’t flattering. So disappointed because everything else is lovely. I am 5’5” and 125lbs so I wasn’t stretching the dress but it was still all pucker and didn’t lay flat or smooth.
