Excellent quality
These Gentle Souls boots are very comfortable and of excellent quality. They are light and very stylish. I liked them the minute I tried them.
Comfortable and Stylish
These boots are super comfortable with decent arch support, and the toe box is wide enough to accommodate a wider foot. They also look sleek with pants, and I love the taller shaft. They run true to size. I am normally a 7.5 - 8, and the 8 fits with room to spare.

Soft sole, flexible yet snug leather, true to size
I bought this pair a month ago and travel with them on local business trips in the New England area and London. Great for walking on the streets of London and New York. Look lovely with dresses.

Squeaky!
I am typically a narrow width but I ordered 8M and they were fine in the width, so be aware of this if you have a wide foot. The only problem is that they both squeak when I walk. I will be returning them. Given the price of these boots, this is very disappointing.
Christmas return policy
Order these boots for my daughter for a Christmas present. Received them on November 6. Opened present on December 24. I realized they were too small. Bloomingdale's would not return our exchange. They were too small November 6. Bloomingdale's would not return or exchange these boots that were too small for my daughter.

Not a great fit
I had high hopes for these boots. They are cute and labeled as water resistant which is a plus. I was not happy with how long it took for them to be delivered which is not an issue with the boots, but more of a surprise with Bloomingdale's. I expect better from this store for shipping. I received an email that they shipped the day after ordering which was great however it took over a week to receive. On to the reason I will be returning these. I am a true size 8 in all shoes and boots. These were snug across the top of my foot and my toes were touching the front end of the boots so not comfortable to wear for even a couple of minutes. I do not have a wide foot. I am considering trying to size up and see if that helps. If so, I will update my review. As of now, I am disappointed in how long they took to get to me and then not being able to wear them because the fit is not good.
