Great machine BUT

I love this machine! Easy setup. Lots of ice! My issue is I've had it since March 8, 2025 and it's now April 15, 2025 and we've had issues with loud noise coming from it. I've tried cleaning it and replacing the water filter. It's so loud it woke me out of a dead sleep. Reaching out for a resolution.

NOT SATISFIED

i HAVE HAD MY OPAL 2.0 ULTRA SINCE 12-14-2024. HAVE CLEANED IT WHEN IT WAS TIME AND FOLLOWED ALL THE DIRECTIONS. LAST 3 TIMES I MADE ICE, FILL WITH WATER THEN PUT THE TRAY BACK IN IT SAYS (MAKING ICE) THEN AFTER 2 MINUTES IT SAYS ADD WATER WHEN WATER IS ALREADY IN THERE TO THE FILL LINE SO I HAVE TOTURN THE MACHINE OFF UNPLUE REMOVE THE WATER (DRAIN IT) THEN PUT THE WATER BACK IN AND PLUG IT BACK IN AFTER 15 MINUTES OR OVER NIGHT. THEN IT WILL START MAKING ICE THE NEXT DAY. I AM VERY DIS-SATISFIED WITH THIS PRODUCT. I PROBABLY SHOULD NEVER HAD ORDERED IT BECAUSE OF MY AGE (71) MAYBE I AM TO OLD TO USE IT.

Worth the expense

This is my third ice maker after 2 less expensive ones, but it's definitely worth the extra cost! The ice quality is perfect - that crunchy nugget ice that's perfect in drinks - and it makes/holds a lot of ice. Works quickly, excellent taste, love it! So far not too noisy either, although it does make some noise.

I LOVE my GE Profile Opal Nugget Ice Maker!! I've had one for years, getting the first one when they were originally manufactured by FirstBuild! The ice production is fast, and is satisfyingly crunchy!
