With a single press of a button and in less than 90 seconds, this automatic espresso machine dispenses Espresso, Americano, My Cup or Hot Water. My Cup is set to ristretto and can be adjusted to a favorite espresso recipe via the SmartHQ app. A built-in grinder helps maximize freshness, and an on-board frother lets you pick the perfect texture. An adjustable spout and removable drip tray can accommodate a range of cup sizes.

Perfect in every way except one

I love everything about this espresso machine except one thing. It’s beautiful, makes delicious coffee, easy to use, has good personalization options. But, I’m on my third machine in 2 years. The first one had an issue right after the warranty expired. I liked it so much I got another, but this time I got an extended warranty. Unfortunately, it had an issue throwing dry grinds Into the tray. GE sent me a new machine because I was within my warranty. I hope the third time is the charm!

The Rose Gold peels......

The rose gold has almost completely peeled off from the drip tray.

Nice addition

Very nice consistent quality of coffee. I drink a Dbl Americano and my wife makes Dbl Cappuccino. I did set it up to wifi but Im not sure what it does so anyway… We both worked in Food Service our 40+ years of our careers and have had great coffee experiences both here and abroad. This was a gift for her retirement and it is a great addition to our kitchen/dining arsenal. Our old brewer is collecting dust. All in all a well designed, user friendly appliance

Fails after 1.5 yrs

Fails after 1.5 years. After that it can make cold water hot. Reviews all over Internet reports the same thing.

Perfect espresso, every time!

This machine brews a delightful espresso. The Americano and espresso outputs are customizable through the app which make sit a breeze to use. The frother has worked flawlessly. The only downside is the hopper capacity and capacity for the waste bin. They both require regular attendance so placement under the shelving makes it difficult to refill the water reservoir and bean hopper.
