It began when Dick Hayne opened a small, unique store in West Philadelphia in 1970 called Free People. The store grew to include multiple locations and the name was changed to Urban Outfitters. As the brand continued to grow, Hayne and his wife realized it was the original concept of Free People that represented some of their favorite ideas about style—ideas of femininity, courage, and spirit. Free People was reiterated once again as a small boutique in New Jersey where unique styles could be found. down size at least 3 sizes

It is super cute and well made. BUT it runs very large. I am normally a Large with jackets. I got a medium still wayyyyy too big. sending it back.

Love this Jacket!

This one has become my go to jacket. Interesting cut. Just the right amount of “worn” look. Pockets and a longer back market it a perfect updated Jean jacket.

SUCH A "COOL" FP JACKET!!

Purchased this adorable Free People jacket recently in the "denim."....I absolutely love everything about it, especially the "swing-style" back....Can't go wrong with FP clothing.....Thanks to Macy's for bringing this brand to us.....
