It began when Dick Hayne opened a small, unique store in West Philadelphia in 1970 called Free People. The store grew to include multiple locations and the name was changed to Urban Outfitters. As the brand continued to grow, Hayne and his wife realized it was the original concept of Free People that represented some of their favorite ideas about style—ideas of femininity, courage, and spirit. Free People was reiterated once again as a small boutique in New Jersey where unique styles could be found. Today, Free People's bohemian-inspired garments, shoes, and accessories can be found in boutiques throughout the United States and Canada and are carried in specialty stores worldwide including Bloomingdale's.

Cute, but too long and defective zipper

I ordered this reading all of the reviews saying that the pant length was long and they weren’t joking! I purchased fully expecting to have it altered. however, I read in another review that the zipper wouldn’t stay up. the same thing happened with mine. I really hope the zipper was faulty because it was unwearable due to this. As I was trying it on, the zipper shot all the way down so fast it actually caught my skin and cut me. The jumpsuit is REALLY cute, so I may consider trying to order it again, but not sure. For reference, I’m 5’2 135lbs and ordered a M

Tricky sizing

I’m 5,8”, 135. Small was too tight and medium the crotch was too low even though I’m long wasted. It’s a very flattering jumpsuit but long even for a tall girl.
