  • About The Fragrance

    In the Middle East, a promise made between two people is accompanied by the strictest honor code. Frédéric Malle celebrates this principle with a promise of his own, whose beating heart is made of two precious varieties of rose: rose essence from Bulgaria and rose absolute from Turkey are lifted by apple, pink pepper and clove, and bound to a sensuous base of patchouli, cypriol and labdanum; an accord as unbreakable and invisible as a vow.

    About the Perfumer:
    Dominique Ropion trained at the legendary Roure Bertrand Dupont laboratory before going to work with Jean-Louis Sieuzac, one of the perfumery world's great technicians. Today he is a star perfumer at IFF. What makes Ropion's work special is the mix of precision and freedom and his quest to create new, harmonious accords by pairing ingredients, which are polar opposites. An adventurer who abandons himself to instinct, Dominique Ropion is also extremely rigorous in the final stages of the formulation of each of his fragrances.

Awesome sent and unique

Truly a great perfume and I love the deep scent on this one since it goes on for a long time and doesn’t change in scent. The complexity is amazing and the sweetness of the smell really comes out with time. This projects really well in a crowd and the sillage is apparent as I get a lot of compliments

A special scent

Promise is an intense rose-forward perfume that starts with a juicy apple note, followed by warm and resinous notes. There is some animalic castoreum note that makes things interesting and addictive. Best to test on skin before buying. Suitable for more formal occasions and this should shine in cold weather. Two sprays max.

This Juice is incredible! Nuclear performance. Would advise to sample first because it might not be for everyone. Rose and Oud on another level
