Think Twice Before Buying This from Bloomingdale’s

Purchased this watch less than 3 months ago and wore it only twice. I love the look, but on the second wear I discovered it wasn’t running. For a Swiss watch, this raises serious concerns about the brand’s quality standards and has made me think twice about buying this brand again. What disappointed me even more was Bloomingdale’s response. Nordstrom advertises “Free returns anytime” for this same watch, yet Bloomingdale’s refused to exchange a defective watch after only two wears and insisted on warranty repair. Even Bloomingdale’s online customer service told me stores can override the policy for defective fine items. I contacted Ferragamo directly, and they were surprised Bloomingdale’s wouldn’t exchange it. They said they would have exchanged it if I had purchased it from them, and that many department stores would have done the same. Very disappointing experience. I’ll think twice before buying either this brand or another watch from Bloomingdale’s.
