Mixed feelings

This is a very pretty dress but the fit is awkward. The waist billows out some and then becomes narrower by the hips, which makes the fabric bunch up oddly. I really like the color and fabric overall, but will need to tailor this to take it the waist- otherwise it’s not very flattering for an hourglass figure like mine. If you’re more straight or longish in the torso and hips, you’ll probably enjoy more. I’m perplexed by how this was sewn and if it wasn’t into tailoring things to my liking, I would return.
