Effective

I am hesitant doing reviews especially when I haven't used it, but now after several months of applying on my face, I will really say it's very effective. Of course, I applied this plus moisturizer. It works for 62 yo skin. I am glowing and get so many compliments from friends and even to just random person I talk to.

Provides a hydrating, healthy look to the skin

Within my first few days of use I noticed my pores were greatly minimized/blurred and my skin overall looked healthy and well hydrated. Due to these results, I started using this product 2x daily after cleansing my face. I really saturated my face with the produce but noticed overtime it was causing facial redness with 2x daily application. I gave a 4 star rating due to this as toners should not increase facial redness. I have reduced to 1x daily in the morning under my moisturizer and I have not noticed as much facial redness. I would recommend to those who have oily skin and to combine it with the DayWear Matte moisturizer gel cream. The combination greatly reduces the look and feel of an oily complexion.

Like water not creme

How to use section on Estée Lauder website is inaccurate as you can't apply this with your hands as it is like tap water (looks exactly the same as water) I purchased two 200ml bottles (both pink and blue micro essence) spending £260 combined last year - silly mistake on my part as I took in what I'd read on the product description and it sounded perfect for me but unfortunately I don't even use it as I prefer creme or serum (I will never purchase anything described as a lotion on here again in case it looks the same as tap water). If you decide to purchase be very careful when opening bottle as there is no press down pump nor is there a plastic covering to take off (I spilt a good 3rd of the bottle)
