    Dispensing:
    Some customers prefer to use the product straight from the bottle. For those who prefer extra control, a pump is sold separately.

    Application:
    - Shake: Then dispense a fingertip amount. Press once if you are using the pump.
    - Dot: Apply to the areas you want most coverage (like cheeks, forehead and chin).
    - Blend: With fingertips, sponge or brush, blend from the center of your face outward. Build to full coverage as needed. Let each layer dry before applying more. Press in with fingertips for a natural-skin finish.

    Pro Tip for Flawless Skin Prep:
    - Apply half a dropper of Advanced Night Repair Serum (sold separately).
    - Let it dry down for at least 1 minute.
    - Apply Double Wear in thin layers.

It stays on all day!

I was pleasantly surprised by this foundation! At first, I was a little worried because the shade looked slightly too tan/orange for my skin tone when I first applied it. However, after blending it in really well, it actually adjusted and matched my skin much better than I expected. The formula felt soft and lightweight on my skin, and it gave my complexion a smooth, even finish. One thing that really impressed me was the staying power. This foundation truly lives up to its name—it stayed put all day and barely budged. I was shocked that even after taking a shower, there was still foundation on my skin! It also had a pleasant scent and wore comfortably throughout the day without feeling heavy. Overall, I was very impressed with the coverage, smooth finish, and incredible longevity. Amazing foundation

I've tried a lot of foundations recently and this one is at the top of my list. It went on really easily and blended into my skin without getting patchy or clinging to dry spots. The color stayed the same all day and didn't oxidize which is importance to me since I have neutral brown skin and hate looking orange-y. It has nice coverage that evens out my skin but it still feels lightweight and looks like my skin instead of feeling like I'm wearing a lot of makeup. Try before you buy

I used Double Wear foundation in high school and college, so I am very familiar with the old formula and was excited but skeptical to try the new. It has its pros and cons. While it does have similar lasting all day wearability, it now oxidizes a lot more. I tried with and without setting powder and sprays and both oxidized about the same. It didn't irritate my sensitive skin and doesn't really have a fragrance. I used both a damp beauty blender and a brush to apply and preferred the beauty blender as I found the foundation to apply too streaky with a brush. It does feel more lightweight than the original formula but also settles in fine lines. I recommend you try a few shades to see how they wear on your skin. Dislike entirely

I have been using double wear for 25 years, it was always the best foundation, I would sometimes try other brands only to return back to double wear, other foundations just weren't even half as good. Now Estée Lauder decided to completely change the formula and ruin the once amazing product they had. Even the colors are not the same, this new product makes my pores look large, it's splotchy and just not flattering. I tried it for over a month now and I just hate the way it looks, in addition the bottle leaks horribly. Today I decided to give it one more shot and it looked so bad I washed it off and applied the little bit I had left of the original foundation.I don't know why they would change a product that was so amazing and had lifelong customers. Sadly, I am forced to find a new foundation now.

Not Improved

The new formula is not better. Double wear has been my go to foundation for perfect skin for 10+ years. The new formula feels sticky, looks splotchy/doesn't blend well in some areas and doesn't cover as well. I also needed more product for coverage. My guess is they changed it to try to save the company money on ingredients. Bad move.

Full coverage!

I’ve always been an Estee Lauder customer, and have used their makeup exclusively. My favorite is Perfectionist because the coverage is good and I really love the bottle with push button top. What happened! No more push button bottle, and makeup is entirely changed. It’s not the creamy great coverage I used to get. Double Wear makeup is also different, much dryer. I’m looking for a new brand. Good bye Estée Lauder.
