Feels so good

I was looking for a moisturizer for day use. This DayWear Matte feels so good when you put it on. It has a slight scent, like cucumbers, but very mild.

Ideal for oily skin

I've used Daywear Matte for over 5 years and would recommend to others. It does a great job at decreasing oil production and shine after hours of being on my skin. I use just a thin layer on my skin and pat it in. I also wait to put on my makeup for another 30 minutes to make sure the moisturizer soaks in. I find I need to blot 1x during the day to help minimize the shine and minimize oil on my skin. This is an improvement for me...with other products I've tried (non Estee lauder), I would be blotting multiple times a day starting 2-3 hours after putting makeup on, so I will say this product is worth it. I gave this product 4 stars instead of 5 because there's no SPF and the product has gone up in price close to $20 in the past 5 years.

Caused breakouts

I have oily skin and thought this product would be good to control oil during the day. Instead, it caused breakouts all over my chin and forehead. After 3-4 weeks I stopped using it and my skin cleared up immediately.

Perfect

I love this product. helps me matiffy i am combination to oily so I put it on my tzone 2 layers for my oily spots abd it works great!!! makes my skin looks so fresh!!! probably will be my holy grail daily mattifier!!! 10 stars!!!

Not a good mattifier under makeup

this product smells great and goes on smoothly, feeling fresh for my oily skin. But when I let it dry and put makeup on top, it appears that my skin is peeling underneath but i know it's just the product. It's awful! I thought I could use it at night, but who needs nightime shine control when you are sleeping? I don't see The Mattifier on the website anymore and I just purchased it in May. It was a DREAM under makeup! What happened???
