Beautiful but too long

I was very excited upon receiving my Eliza J dress for an upcoming black tight event. Upon opening the box, I thought I had a shot this dress was going to be the one! It was beautiful and seemed of great quality. However, put it on, it was way too long for my 5"4' frame. It fit well everywhere else, especially on top - nice and snug holding everything in place (38 DD's) but I almost felt like this dress had a train in the back -nothing in the picture showed inclination of of it being extremely long. I had to return it had since I had no time to possibly bring it to get hemmed.
