Prototype has gone on sale. Wait!

Second usage and fault comes up: empty dirty water. But there is no dirty water. Tried to clear it and no luck. No manual. No help. Literally used once on clean floor. Sending back

Easy to use works a treat.

This unit works a treat, really like the fact that you use no detergent, and it cleans itself.

Extremely disappointed

I returned this product after one week. Half way through the first use, the dirty water failed to circulate to the proper container, flooded the tray and spilt out over the floor. I also found the tray itself very flimsy and fiddly to use.

Would not recommend if you have dogs.

Would not recommend if you have pets. We have had it serviced once already and need to have it fixed again only a couple of months the later, as the self clean does not clean out the pet hair from the mop properly. We now get a "clean dirty water tank" message when the tank is empty and have been advised by the servicing department that this shows because there is dog hair inside the mop. We now can't use our mop again.

A very good time and energy saving machine. With 4 dogs and 5 cats in the household, it is very time and energy consuming to keep the floor in a decent state of cleanliness. This little beauty assists us to do just that. It is extremely convenient to grab it off the dock, give the floor a once over and clean up. We use it in combination with our Dyson V15 sensor vacuum cleaner and the floors have never looked better. Thank you Dyson.

Needs Further Development.

Good in principle but the design needs work. The dirt collector tray is easy to clean but difficult to remove and replace. The water storage bottles aren’t robust enough and the first one leaked. I don’t like using water alone to clean floors as I have pets so it needs to take some kind of cleaning fluid. Doesn’t clean the skirting boards like standard mops do. It’s not quicker than a normal mop but less strain on the body for older users.

Floor haven`t looked that good in years

In a family with 2 teenage boys moppind was always a war (who is that looser who`s got to do it), now it is still the war, but for who has a privilege to do it. Wash G1 brought back shine to our poished rimu floor and surprising shine to a vinyl (didnt knew it had it on a first place). Feels well-build,battery life could be a bit better,but it`s enough for a small 3 bedroom villa. Easy to use and maintain (but a was washing ordinary mop every time after use,so cleaning WashG1 wasn`t a hassle for me).Unit is quite heavy ,but don`t really need to lift it,pushing it along the floor is pretty easy. Suggestions to improve it even more. 1. Better brush driyng, which is non-existen at the moment, but easily solved with two sets of brush heads. 2. Different coarseness of brushes. Would be nice to have an option of more abrassive brush heads for dried-on spills, stains. 3. For a far future - filtration system to clean the dirty water and reuse it again in a clean water tank
