The Dyson V8 Absolute has advanced, whole-machine filtration that captures pet allergens and fine dust, expelling cleaner air. horrible experience. the motor died within 3 months of not much use. battery was charged properly according to instructions. however, it died. for sure defective.

Dyson is good.

This cleaner is very good. Has good suction which was sadly lacking in the previous cleaner we bought. Battery seems good at the moment, and maneuverability is excellent. Lives up to it’s name.

Good, but battery & wall mount should be better.

Dyson V8 offers good suction, smooth maneuverability, and comfortable ergonomics. Its main drawback is the relatively short battery life. The wall‑mount bracket works, but routing the charging cable through the narrow slits feels awkward. It’s functional, yet the overall design comes across as a bit flimsy and somewhat cheap.

Bin awkward

OK but emptying bin very awkward. It was sticking and flap did not open. Then it got stuck half open and I couldn’t close it. Checked instructions online then out of the blue I gave it a thump and it flipped open!

Great hoover

I bought the v8 asan up grade from dc9 and wasn't disappointed it's better suction better emptying and doesn't block up as easy well worth it's money and great maneuverability and long battery life

Power failure

Charge it overnight. Use it for five minutes and the power goes out. One second back on the charger and it's running again for a couple of minutes. Wish it worked as advertised...

Greatest vacuum on earth.

I had the Dyson 7 for many years and it finally started coughing and getting sick. I had replaced the battery, the filters, it was taken apart and put back together so many times and has been an important part of the family. Now the Dyson 8 Absolute is my absolute Dream. I wish I could take it everywhere with me. It’s made such a difference in our lives and we are quite frankly happy we have it.
